An Intro

Hello!  I'm a creaky old vagrant from the land of Livejournal, finally making the jump to this place thanks to a friend- <user name=thisleburr>.  I'd like to be a bit more social here, get involved in more communities, learn things, meet new people, maybe maintain my actual journal as a slice-of-life kind of thing...

To start off on a delicious note, this here is the cider I've been saving for the past few weeks- and I'm harboring that horrible feeling when you know it'll be gone within three days of opening the lid.  It'll happen soon enough.  Just need to get myself to a grocery store and pick up some yogurt and canola oil so I can attempt to make some cider donuts with maple glaze.  8]
